24 HOUR DIGITAL FOOTPRINT

On the 25th of July we did a 24 hour digital foot-print and we had to use Pixlr to create any map shape that we wanted to create.

The time we started at was 12:00 pm and finished at 12:00 in the afternoon on the 26th.

I went on the NZ Herald to find out about a very famous New Zealand Olympian named Rob Waddell.

WHANAU HUI

I prepared a screencast for my parents to see. I prepared it for them to see if they came on the 19th of May but they didn’t come on that day because I didn’t have a chromebook. I still don’t have a chromebook. I posted my screencast to my blog and it’s called Parent Visit. I also made a screencast with Prudence and Tupouseini about using our Kawa Of Care. The others had fun but Tyron and I didn’t have fun when the parents visited so we played JENGA. When we were finished, it was time to go home and everyone was excited.

SORRY!

Screenshot 2016-02-23 at 2.43.40 PM.png
Kia ora and talofa lava! My name is Katrina and I’m a year 6 student at Ruapotaka School in Room 10. My teacher's name is Mrs Buchanan. My principal's name is Mrs Vickers. My nationality is Cook Island and Maori. My sex is female. My favourite subjects at school are maths and reading. The thing I’m good at is mostly maths because I can find heaps of ways to solve the maths problem. My maths goal is to learn my 7, 8, 9 and 12 times tables. The other thing I like to do is play sports. The sports I like to play most of all are softball and soccer. The most favourite things I like to do are sing and play cards with my family and sing a song called SORRY by Justin Bieber. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. My pet's name is Misty and she is my puppy. I have to feed her 3 times a day. I feed her milk from the vet and she is only 5 weeks old. My favourite food is butter chicken on rice. The people I admire are my family because they always help with the things that I need help with, like my homework and my times tables. The place I want to go is Melbourne, Australia. Please enjoy my blog.

A Snagit About My Favorite Movie!

This is my snagit that I have created with Meana who is in Room 9. If you watch this video you will know what our favourite movies are. It was very easy to make it because me and Meana listened very well to Mrs Buchanan and Miss Ginders.

SUPER DUPER FANTASTIC TIPS!

To create my infographic I had to think about the size and also I had to think about what I was going to say in my callouts. Also the information that I have shared I got from other blogs and individual blogs and before I had launched my blog I had to create a infographic about what I could put on a my individual blog. Everyone in Room 10 has created a infographic, just like me but some people have a different title but some people have the same title as me for the infographic that they have made.

My Kawa Of Care

I had to think about the size of my pictures and also what I was going to say for my call outs. I had to think about responsibility, like... tapping my keys gently and holding my chromebook with two hands not one!

Ctrl Shift T

I find CTRL SHIFT T really useful because it reopens your tabs and I find it way quicker than just trying to find the tab that you
 were on.
